I decided to find a hobby to bring passion back into my everyday life. This is the most commonly asked question! I recommend 6 months as a starting age, since babies’ heads change rapidly and at that age, they have the neck strength to get the perfect profile shot. That being said, As long as you have a clear side photo, I can create a silhouette for anyone of any age!
Absolutely! I draw the silhouette myself, and can use any photo or a photo of an already-existing silhouette you have on hand.
Your child was made perfectly in every way, and I aim to capture that in the truest form. While I’m not comfortable altering a child’s face or overall characteristics, as an artist, I can add in hair bows if you’d like. I do require that these requests are given at the time the order is placed. If you have questions around what I can do, please reach out- I’m happy to discuss!
Terms and conditions
All artwork, including digital proof, is property of Mae Bicklein Designs. Legal action will be taken against any attempt to replicate, re-produce, re-print, sell, or copy any artwork provided by Mae Bicklein Designs, including screenshotting and using proofs for your personal use. If you would like rights for any of these options, please email me. By purchasing from Mae Bicklein Designs, you agree to forfeit rights to start any competitive business selling paper-cut silhouettes and utilizing any processes shared between Mae Bicklein Designs and Customer.
All sales are completely final after payment has been made. If photos are not sent within three months of purchase, your order will be closed without notice and you will not receive a final product or monetary credit (sending photos is the responsibility of the Customer and not the responsibility of Mae Bicklein Designs).
Any issues with packages must be documented via email with photos of damage within 24 hours of delivery. Mae Bicklein Designs is not responsible for lost or damaged packages, however I'm happy to help how I can. By paying your invoice, you agree to these terms and conditions. You agree to uphold your portion of the order (responding to any emails sent regarding your order, providing the photos within the given timeline). You understand that failure to uphold your portion of the order will result in your order being closed without receiving a final product or monetary compensation, no exceptions.
