Engraving Add-on
I. Refund policy
Due to the custom nature of the product and the communication required, cameos are non-refundable upon purchase. Should you order and decide to not move forward, I’m happy to send over a gift receipt that you can gift to someone else! Cameos are created to be a replica of the photo you send, so unfortunately if you’re unhappy with the photo you sent with the order, a refund nor a gift card will be an option. I recommend reading all photo tips before ordering.
II. Buyer’s responsibility
Buyer is responsible for maintaining any communication with artist including but not limited to: providing additional photos if needed or approving proofs. Failure to communicate is at fault of the buyer. Buyer is responsible for providing photos that meet all requirements as laid out on this website. Buyer understands that the silhouette will be a replica of the photo provided, and therefore will send an accurate photo representing the child or pet subject.
Buyer understands that the paper details are extremely fragile. Any damage done to cameo while in transit MUST be reported on the day of delivery (including photo of the damage) or no refund or new artwork will be provided. Any damage done to cameo after delivery date is of fault of the buyer.
III. Edits
ALL specific requests must be given at the time of purchase or may not be included in silhouette.
Any edits requiring a redraw of any kind is an additional $50 per edit. This includes redrawing hair, face, or details that were not specifically requested upon purchase.
Artist maintains the right to use the arrangement of flowers that work best with each individual head shape. I will not take requests for how the flowers will be laid out.
IV. Turnaround time
Turnaround time is estimated but not guaranteed. The only way to guarantee a ship-by date is by purchasing rush production.
V. Artwork rights
All artwork, including digital proofs and silhouette designs, are property of Mae Bicklein Designs and are not to be used by any additional artist or third party. Copying any artwork or silhouette will result in legal action against all parties involved.
